DC Chemical to Build The Third Polysilicon Plant

In July 2008, Korea’s DC Chemical will start their third polysilicon plant project at an estimated cost of US$ 840 millions. This project will be completed in December 2009. It is designed to produce 10,000 tons per year of polysilicon.

Besides, DC Chemical will also expand the other two existing plants, which require investment expenditure of approximately US$ 250 millions.

By 2010, DC Chemical plant capacity will become 26,500 tons per year and the second largest polysilicon producer in the world.
